Airwalk is a boardsport (ie. Surfing and skateboarding) footwear company based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It was established in 1986 by Bill Mann and George Yohn. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the company made skate shoes, t-shirts, snowboard boots, and other products, and sponsored professional skaters including Jason Lee and Tony Hawk.
Airwalk used to a very popular brand only amongst teenagers and the sporty group, especially the known to skaters and bicycle stunt bikers, but today with most designs specially made for the young and funky kids and adult, they are a big hit even with people who does not skate or ride a bike.
Airwalk Camo clogs, Airwalk clogs and Airwalk Matrix boots are some of the examples that shows us that Airwalk is not just about skateboarding, skating, snowboarding or biking.
Airwalk shoes is not longer just for the young and adventurous teenagers, they have now created a fashion trend and if you are air walking, you are creating a fashion statement.
