Giving Professional Chiropody Treatments

chiropody training
Chiropody treatments come in all forms, for corns and callous, ingrowing toe nails, verrucae, athlete's foot, fungal infection in toe nails, and the most common in women, bunions.

The chiropodist or podiatrist will first inspect and diagnose the conditions and will suggest the various types of treatment suitable for your unique conditions and will do the necessary procedures to get you fixed up.

The whole process will probably takes about 30 mins to an hour, depending on the conditions and the treatment method used, it may be longer than an hour.

After the treatment, the chiropodist or podiatrist should also advise patients on appropriate footwear for people with different foot conditions. For instance, someone who has just done a bunion operation should try to wear slippers. Or whilst doing verrucae treatment, one should avoid going to public area without footwear, just in case the virus will be spread around.
